Teams consist of 4 members (no more, no less). Each team member signs up individually under the “team type” you choose (male, female, co-ed) and enters their team name when prompted. Be sure the team name is identical for each team member! Team time is determined by the last team member crossing the finish line. If a team member is not able to participate on event day, your team will be timed, however, you will not place as a team.

Free Kids Tickets (offered during online registration for adult 5K) do not include a free t-shirt. Option to purchase during registration. To qualify for the Kids Run Free promotion, register for the 5K as an individual or a team runner. During that registration process you will be given the option to choose one free kids ticket. Enter all info as prompted. You will only be charged if you choose to purchase a t-shirt for your child as they are not included. Free Kids Ticket offer is good online only. Online shirt Purchase option only good thru 8-23-17.
Parking is available in the lot of Kentwood Community Church. You can access the parking lot off Kalamazoo Ave. (North of M-6) and Eastport Drive. Go West on Eastport Dr. and proceed past the Celebration Cinema then continue North on Eastport Drive. Turn North (right) on Ridgebrook Drive. Parking lot will be directly to your left. Parking is only $5.
Yes, secure bag check will be available day of the event.
Each runner will be allowed to check one bag. Lost and found will be located in the same area.

Yes! Event day registrations will be available beginning an hour and a half prior to the first run time on the day of the Grand Rapids Mud Run. See Events Page for heat times.
Check your Junk Mail first. If you find it, please access your registration with the account and password you set up. Click on the View tab to access the option to print your confirmation. Print that out and bring to packet pickup on event day. If you still cannot locate it, email [email protected] As a last resort, you may present your Photo ID.
There will be an area to go around all of the obstacles if you are unable to complete them.

Yes, if you are an adult participant that is already registered for the Grand Rapids Mud Run, there will be no fee as long as you wear your 5K race bib. For those adults not registered for the 5K run, you may join in the Mini Mud for a $15 fee. Look for these options during the registration process for your child’s ticket. Participants of all heats will be checked for registration at the start line.
Our 5K run is for people at least 12 and up. The Mini Mud is for ages (6 to 12). Unfortunately kids under 6 cannot do the run.
It is about 1.5 miles on a portion of the 5K course and includes many of our best obstacles and mud pits that are sure to thrill our Mini Mudders.
Packet pick-up will be held at the event location the day of the race and will open an hour and a half before the first heat. Please arrive at least one hour prior to your heat time.
